Boating Courtesy Request

Posted by Gary Pickering on July 23, 2012 at 9:55 AM Comments comments (0)

I havea request from a fellow boater that all boaters be mindful of their wake when passing by Henrys Fish House at Sans Souci and the Gas Dock at Honey Harbour. Also remember that slower speeds do not necessarily mean a small wake. Look behind you from time to time and adjust your speed accordingly. Lets be considerate and safe boaters. Thanks.

When you are tied up in a marina, please secure rigging lines in such a way that they do not clang against the mast in windy conditions. Thank you.

Mrs. Whalen's Great=Great Granddaughter and Granddaughter of Roy Gropp

Sitting here a galaxy away from my natural habitat, I watch the rainfall from the skies as if it were its duty to cleanse the dirty city. Reflections that are only mine . . . what is happening in my own private realm of paradise? It is as clear as if I were there now. The island lies nestled in a blanket of crystalline water, still icy to the touch, but slowly being war...

Adventure

Boating has always been an adventure: from the first mariners that set sail to discover new worlds to the commercial fishermen and merchant seamen even today who go down to the sea in ships. Whenever or wherever you take to the water in your boat, from a dinghy to a yacht, you are joining the ranks of...

The Intruder
