Winterfest at Bayport a Success

!!This past Saturday Bayport Yachting Centre held its annual Winterfest. It was a resounding success as usual. The turnout was amazing despite the weather and cold. Kids went skating, ice fishing and took the horse and wagon ride through the marina.

The Staff at Bayport did a wonderful job and the meal provided to all was supberb. Thanks Bayport!!

New Propane Powered Outboard Motor

A California company just introduced a propane-powered outboard motor at the Miami Boat Show.  They won an Innovation Award for the engine.  It was invented by a Captain and according to the press release, "The benefits to the marine industry arenumerous and substantial.

I have been a "Bayporter" for nearly 18 years now...in the same slip. Every year, without fail, Bayport Staff do something to improve the Marina for the benefit of boaters. This year they are constructing some 60 foot docks on the South West end of the marina. Kudos to Ken McDonald, Scott Cain and the Bayport Staff for always thinking of the boaters. Another reason (amongst many) that I stay at Bayport.
