NEW YORK — Luxury boats come in all sizes at the New York Boat Show, but there is only one priced under $15,000 and that is the three-person Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO.For 2012, Yamaha refreshed its luxury line of WaveRunner personal watercraft with a new deck, hull, and long list of industry-first features that also includes a 1.8L supercharged Yamaha marine engine, the largest displacement engine in a PWC.
“Our FX line has always been equated with luxury, and our focus on innovation, technology and performance, has elevated this series to become the best sellers in the luxury performance market,” said Bryan Seti, Yamaha’s national marketing manager. “But we couldn’t stop there, and this year we have a brand new hull and deck design that takes everything that’s made these WaveRunners so successful to an even higher level.”

For value-minded buyers that want the luxury, comfort and convenience that the FX Cruiser SHO delivers, but can do without a supercharger; Yamaha offers the FX Cruiser HO priced $2,000 less.
